I wake up at 1:30am in an attempt to get work done in a quiet house, and catch up on what I didn’t manage to accomplish the day before. I crashed early as my brain was mush by 7:30pm.

At 2:00, our son (5 months old) wakes up wanting to be fed and needing his medicine. We spend some quality time hanging out in the steamy bathroom to help humidify the air in his lungs and aid his breathing. I drop him in his swing around 3:00, and after a bit of loud conversation, he’s asleep by 3:30.

At 5:15, our daughter (5 years old) wakes up. She wants to color in her coloring book at the table while I work, as she can’t sleep. She is about 1.25 hours early. After 10 minutes of getting her set up with color by numbers, she is now coloring and singing right beside me. Now, our son is starting to toss and turn…

At 5:35, I sit down to post this before making more coffee. I’m about 2 hours behind already. Yeah, and I’m still working on yesterday’s todo list. sigh

At 5:40, our daughter: “Daddy, I don’t want to color anymore. What can I do, Daddy? Look, my crayon box is broken .. oh no!”. I’m going to multitask on handling this crisis while making coffee…

I have a feeling today is going to be one of those “glorious” days.

Swedish magicians + 7 new iPads = One of the best presentations...

Swedish magicians + 7 new iPads = One of the best presentations you will ever see
